love Kate HATS are designed in Melbourne, Australia and expertly constructed thanks to the superior workmanship of our select, longstanding makers.  Individually made utilising luxe natural sustainable fibres; Raffia, Ramie, Palm Straw, Wheat Straw and Paper for comfort and breathability.

love Kate HAT styles are clean and classically modern.  A smart, thoughtful nod to longevity and gaining maximum sun protection wherever possible without compromising wearability or fashion.

Internationally sourced trims include Genuine Leather, Freshwater Pearls, Handmade Raffia Pom Poms & Tassels, select and individually designed bespoke Grosgrain Ribbon.  A number of love Kate HAT styles have embellishments added right here in Melbourne, Australia.  A continuation of the tight knit, team effort and a large part of the love Kate ethos.  HATS off to all involved!

Crown widths measure 57cm in circumference across all styles; 55cm, 57cm and 59cm in a select number of styles and an increasing number of adjustable styles for a 'one size fits all'.  Brim widths and crown heights vary by style.   

All love Kate HAT styles have been meticulously tested with ARPANSA; the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency.  ARPANSA is a regulatory agency under the national Commonwealth government of Australia that aims to protect Australian citizens.  It is the Australian Government's primary authority on radiation protection.  Authorised APRANSA swing tickets, as displayed on select love Kate HATS are only issued on approval of each style meeting strict government standards.  It's a costly undertaking, and understandably serious  in its nature, but an initiative we are proud to endorse and align with to promote Sun Protection Awareness.  Look for ARPANSA Commonwealth Government approved tags on love Kate HATS.
